Actuarial Applications AVP

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP, Actuarial Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technology thought leadership and execution for actuarial modeling solutions
• Build strong relationships with actuarial teams and optimize process flows for modeling platforms
• Evaluate actuarial SaaS solutions and implement end-to-end data processing solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field
• Minimum of seven years in an IT role, with at least five years in programming (Python, Julia, R) and SQL
• Experience with actuarial modeling systems and domain knowledge in Life & Annuities and P&C insurance
• Experience in building cloud-based data solutions in AWS
• Prior knowledge in the fintech, investment banking, or insurance industry
