Actuarial Associate

Job Summary

Supporting new product launches and system validation for annuity products, the full-time Actuarial Associate will build and maintain actuarial validation tools, prepare documentation for model validation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain actuarial validation tools for system value validation
• Prepare documentation to support model validation and internal review processes
• Collaborate with various functional areas to communicate validation findings and recommendations

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field
• Knowledge of variable annuity, index annuity, and living benefits products
• At least 2 actuarial exams passed with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python, VBA, SQL, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of actuarial modeling concepts
