Job Summary
Providing entry-level support for Medicaid risk adjustment, the full-time Associate Analyst, Actuarial will analyze risk scores, calibrate models, and develop actuarial studies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze risk score results to calculate financial impact and identify trends related to risk scores
- Calibrate risk adjustment models based on state programs and develop actuarial studies to present findings to leadership
- Generate routine reports to support risk adjustment calculations and identify opportunities for program improvement
Required qualifications
- Up to 1 year of actuarial experience or equivalent relevant education and experience
- At least 1 passing Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field
- Advanced understanding of statistics and predictive analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, with skills in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
