Actuarial Associate (ASA)

Job Summary

Overseeing a team of analysts, the full-time remote Actuarial Associate (ASA) will implement departmental strategies, ensure accurate analyses and reports, and support junior team members while serving as a Subject Matter Expert in actuarial methods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of analysts to ensure timely and accurate release of analyses and reports
• Conduct extensive analytical reviews and support the development of actuarial analyses aligned with departmental objectives
• Direct workflow and ensure adherence to sound actuarial and financial methods while providing training and performance feedback to team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification required upon hire
• Minimum of 3 years of health actuarial experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical and financial analysis clearly
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet established deadlines while providing excellent customer service
