Actuarial Associate - Reserving

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Associate - Reserving.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Quarterly Reserve Reviews and ad-hoc analysis for assigned product groups to ensure adequate reserves are recorded
• Collaborate with Pricing, Claim, and Underwriting on deep dive reviews of reserve segments and assist in the delivery of analysis findings to senior leadership
• Develop, monitor, and report on monthly metrics to identify trends in claim emergence and ensure compliance with reserving SOX controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background
• 3 or more years of relevant experience in Reserving for Property & Casualty business
• Solid understanding of actuarial principles, techniques, and standards
• High proficiency in MS Office suite and working knowledge of data visualization software preferred
• Currently pursuing ACAS or FCAS and taking actuarial exams
