Actuarial Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Consultant ALDP - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the preparation and submission of Level Funded Stop Loss rate filings while adhering to a defined filing schedule
• Independently manage and respond to filing objections from Departments of Insurance (DOIs)
• Assist in the development of Level Funded Stop Loss pricing to support traditional and non-traditional products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA), Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA), or near ASA designation
• 3+ years of Actuarial/Analytical/Data Science/Healthcare experience
• Hands-on experience in building actuarial models
• Basic or higher level of proficiency in SAS, SQL, or other programming systems
