Actuarial Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Consultant IFP to support ACA Individual & Family Plans through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of ACA Individual & Family Plan pricing models, including various assumptions
• Own end-to-end actuarial analyses for annual rate development and provide insights to leadership and partners
• Evaluate market dynamics and regulatory changes to assess pricing adequacy and financial risk

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Progress toward actuarial designation (ASA track), having passed 4+ exams
• 4+ years of actuarial work experience, particularly in health insurance pricing or financial analyses
• Advanced proficiency with Excel-based actuarial models and analytical tools
• Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex analytical issues
