Actuarial Consultant

Job Summary

To support healthcare innovation, the remote Actuarial Consultant in the Actuarial Leadership Development Program will analyze complex actuarial questions, evaluate affordability initiatives, and collaborate across various teams to deliver impactful analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and investigates complex actuarial questions and problems
• Supports efforts to identify affordability opportunities to lower healthcare costs
• Creates and maintains actuarial models and reports while utilizing AI for workflow efficiencies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
• 4+ years of actuarial work experience
• Progress toward actuarial designation (ASA track), having passed 4+ exams
• Experience leading actuarial analyses within health insurance
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and experience with SQL or similar programming language
