Actuarial Consultant

Job Summary

A company in the insurance industry is looking for an Actuarial Consultant.

Position Responsibilities

• Ensure execution of deliverables
• Monitor reserve adequacy and communicating of trends to executive leadership
• Partner with the Business (Underwriting & Pricing), as well as Claims, Finance and Accounting across the organization to build credibility of the actuarial department and make appropriate decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Two plus years of experience in property/casualty insurance
• Two or more Casualty Actuarial Exams
• Intermediate programming skills, including the ability to develop and automate processes (SQL, VBA)
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
