Job Summary
Supporting ACA Individual & Family Plans, the full-time remote Actuarial Consultant ASA will lead pricing model development, conduct comprehensive actuarial analyses, and collaborate across teams to influence product and pricing strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of ACA Individual & Family Plan pricing models, including various assumptions and risk adjustments
- Own end-to-end actuarial analyses for annual rate development, providing insights to leadership and cross-functional partners
- Evaluate market dynamics and regulatory changes to assess pricing adequacy and financial risk
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Progress toward actuarial designation (ASA track), having passed 4+ exams
- 4+ years of actuarial work experience, particularly in health insurance pricing
- Demonstrated experience leading actuarial pricing or financial analyses
- Advanced proficiency with Excel-based actuarial models and analytical tools
