Job Summary

To support pricing initiatives, the remote Actuarial Consultant - MA Licensed will manage the end-to-end rate filing process for multiple states, develop rate indications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and timely market implementation.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end rate filing process for 11 states, including preparation of indications and timely responses to Department of Insurance objections
  • Serve as the actuarial subject matter expert, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and filing timelines
  • Apply advanced actuarial methodologies to drive accurate pricing decisions and champion continuous improvement in processes and workflows
Required qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) industry
  • ACAS or FCAS designation preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of personal lines filing experience, with exposure to California or Washington filings as a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and deliver results independently
  • Intermediate-level expertise in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with pre-written SQL coding
