Job Summary
To support the Personal Lines Pricing team, the full-time Actuarial Consultant, Ohio Licensed, will perform complex actuarial analyses focused on the Homeowner's line of business, influencing pricing strategies and managing risk while collaborating with various teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform actuarial analyses to inform pricing and trend assumptions for personal lines
- Collaborate with Risk Management on catastrophe and profit assumptions for pricing
- Support the innovation and documentation of property pricing methodologies and monitor emerging loss trends
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field
- ACAS designation or significant progress toward achieving actuarial credential preferred
- Experience in P&C pricing, particularly in personal lines property or catastrophe pricing
- Working knowledge of actuarial pricing methodologies and analytical judgment
- Experience with SQL and familiarity with Python, R, or similar analytical tools is beneficial
