Actuarial Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Director, Actuarial Pricing & Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the actuarial pricing function, managing a team of pricing actuaries, data scientists, and managers
• Oversee the strategy and execution of pricing filings across multiple jurisdictions, including national expansion efforts
• Represent pricing strategy in executive discussions and collaborate cross-functionally with various partner organizations

Required Qualifications

• FCAS credential and 10+ years of actuarial experience, particularly in personal lines pricing and regulatory filings
• 3+ years of management experience, including coaching and performance reviews
• Experience in building tools/processes for pricing automation and scaling filings
• Strong knowledge of rating plan design, predictive modeling, and insurance market dynamics
• Familiarity with modern actuarial tools (SQL, R/Python, Excel) and experience working with engineering teams
