Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director Actuarial.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical analyses and financial principles to solve insurance problems in compliance with actuarial standards
• Construct forecasts of future premiums, claims, and risk scores based on historical data and anticipated changes
• Streamline actuarial tasks by integrating methods into software features and assisting in the deployment of these features

Required Qualifications

• Work experience as an Actuary (ASA or FSA preferred)
• Good knowledge of value-based care approaches in various market spaces
• In-depth understanding of actuarial formulas and statistical packages like R or Python
• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or business
• Good knowledge of insurance legislation affecting analytical outcomes
