Job Summary

Actuarial Director is a full-time position responsible for leading actuarial workstreams in financial condition examinations of life insurance companies, focusing on statutory valuation, reserving adequacy, and actuarial modeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead actuarial workstreams within financial examinations of life insurers and develop defensible conclusions
  • Evaluate adequacy of statutory reserves and perform independent validation of actuarial models
  • Analyze life and A&H premium rate filings for compliance and provide actuarial support to clients
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, or related field
  • 10+ years of actuarial experience in life insurance, financial services, or regulatory agency
  • Designation of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries
  • Experience with regulatory examinations and strong knowledge of statutory accounting principles
  • Ability to adapt expertise to current projects and challenges outside of core skill set
