Actuarial Director

Job Summary

Leading client data and analytics strategies, the full-time remote Actuarial Director will manage client deliverables, mentor junior staff, and serve as a financial contact while ensuring sound financials through actuarial principles and statistical techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee execution of client data and analytics strategies and lead actuarial studies
• Ensure accurate financial forecasting and monitor cost and utilization trends
• Facilitate client meetings and presentations, managing timelines for deliverables

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with actuarial credentials
• 5+ years of client-facing responsibilities and experience leading teams
• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, finance, economics, or a related field
• Expertise in health insurance, medical stop loss, and ancillary employee benefit products
• Proven project management skills and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
