Actuarial Financial Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Financial Analyst.

• Compile, categorize, and analyze data
• Assist in building testing tools and analyzing product calculations
• Aid in building, maintaining, and running actuarial models

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, CIS, or similar background requiring modeling, programming, or quantitative analysis
• May have passed an actuarial exam, LOMA, or other industry exams
• No finance or actuarial experience needed, but typical candidate may have internship, associate teaching, or tutoring experience
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products, programming languages, and actuarial models
• Basic level of perspective, customer focus, drive for results, and problem solving
