Actuarial Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuarial Leader to lead a talented team and innovate home insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

• Own state rating plans and rate indications for home insurance
• Lead the development and integration of predictive modeling projects in collaboration with the Data Science team
• Manage and develop a team of high-performing analysts while crafting rate filing support for new machine learning models

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of P&C actuarial experience; FCAS preferred
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing a team
• B.S. in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficiency in data science programming languages such as R or Python, and database query tools like SQL
• Experience with predictive modeling concepts, including machine learning approaches
