Actuarial Modeler

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Experienced Actuarial Modeler.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain rating, economic, and other models using statistical/modeling techniques
• Educate and support state teams in the implementation of models and decision-making tools
• Plan and manage projects of moderate complexity to achieve corporate goals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, or economics
• Experience with personal lines ratemaking and understanding of insurance economics
• Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Python, R, SAS, or SQL
• Working knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
