Actuarial Modeling and Analytics Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AVP/VP, Actuarial Modeling and Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop analytical solutions by designing predictive pricing models and implementing analytical reports
• Drive data strategy by collaborating with data engineers to ensure data integrity and integrate third-party data
• Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to translate actuarial findings into actionable business strategies

Required Qualifications

• CREDENTIALS: Must be a credentialed actuary or have a background in statistics
• EXPERIENCE: Strong actuarial pricing and/or insurance modeling experience, preferably in Property & Casualty or E&S
• TECHNICAL SKILLS: Proficient in creating predictive pricing models using R or Python
• ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Proficient in Excel and SQL
• COLLABORATION: Strong communication and presentation skills with a focus on teamwork
