Actuarial Pricing Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a driven AVP, Actuarial (Pricing) to join the team full-time, either onsite in La Jolla, Edina, Chicago, or remotely, where the candidate will manage pricing analyses, lead rate reviews, and evaluate new programs while collaborating closely with Underwriting and Product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Apply and shape the in-house pricing toolkit to deliver timely pricing analyses
- Serve as a hands-on pricing actuary, connecting insights to business strategy
- Lead rate reviews across multiple segments, adapting to unique risk profiles
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of actuarial experience, primarily in pricing, with some reserving and reinsurance background
- FCAS or high-functioning ACAS designation
- Proficiency in AI-supported building, R, Python, and SQL
- Strong understanding of actuarial workflows and pricing analysis needs
- Experience in team leadership or mentoring is a plus
