Actuarial Science Vice President

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Actuarial Science VP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company strategy and manage actuarial expertise in rate negotiations and profitability improvement
• Oversee actuarial aspects of rate filing development and manage external and internal resources
• Lead actuarial functions, including staff selection, process improvement, and communication with regulators and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Actuarial Industry, with 5 years in management
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Healthcare Actuarial functions, including Medicaid, Commercial, and/or MA business
• Managed care and state/federal government program experience preferred
• Member of the American Academy of Actuaries and Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries required
