Actuarial Services Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Actuarial Services to lead an actuarial team in conducting and presenting analytics for value-based care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage processes to measure performance of value-based/shared savings arrangements and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Oversee the monthly development and application of IBNR estimates
• Analyze profitability and collaborate with finance teams to monitor performance against forecasts

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of health actuarial experience, preferably with value-based reimbursement strategies
• Minimum of 2 years of Medicaid managed care experience
• Strong SQL skills and actuarial knowledge of best practices for evaluation, modeling, and analytics
