Actuarial Services Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Actuarial Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage processes to measure performance of value-based/shared savings arrangements and communicate insights to stakeholders
• Oversee the development and application of IBNR estimates monthly
• Analyze profitability and monitor performance against forecasts, preparing analyses for shared savings settlement discussions

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of health actuarial experience, with a preference for value-based reimbursement strategies
• Minimum of 2 years of Medicaid managed care experience
• Strong SQL skills and actuarial knowledge of best practices for evaluation and analytics
