Actuarial Services Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing health plan business, the full-time remote Actuarial Services Manager will conduct analysis, pricing, and risk assessment to estimate financial outcomes while leading a small team and collaborating with internal partners on Value-Based Care strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure Value-Based Care strategies are analytically sound and aligned with enterprise goals
• Lead the development of financial models to assess risks and opportunities associated with Value-Based Care arrangements
• Provide analytical support during negotiations with external vendors and articulate the company's financial positions related to Value-Based Care

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• ASA or FSA designation required
• At least 5 years of actuarial experience in financial analysis or related fields
• Previous management experience preferred
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Teradata, Snowflake, and/or SAS preferred
