Actuarial Specialist - Pet Pricing

Job Summary

Joining a collaborative team, the full-time Actuarial Specialist - Pet Pricing will build and maintain actuarial models, analyze complex data for strategic decisions, and partner with cross-functional teams to develop competitive pet insurance products, with the option to work remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain actuarial models for pricing and financial projections of pet insurance products
• Analyze complex data to identify trends, assess risk, and support strategic business decisions
• Prepare actionable insights and recommendations for leadership to drive business growth

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
• Progress toward ACAS designation with 1-3 years of actuarial experience, preferably in P&C insurance
• Strong technical skills in actuarial software, Microsoft Office (including VBA), and programming languages such as R, Python, or SQL
• Experience in building actuarial models and analyzing risk for various lines of business
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
