Actuarial Specialist (SOA Exam Track)

Job Summary

To support a growing actuarial practice, the full-time Actuarial Specialist (SOA Exam Track) will engage in various tasks related to retirement consulting, health and benefits consulting, risk consulting, or reinsurance actuarial consulting, working in a hybrid environment across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Craft projections of long-term financial information for pension and other post-retirement benefit plans
• Coordinate asset-liability analysis and conduct studies with investment consultants
• Support the evaluation and design of comprehensive employee benefit programs and retirement strategies

Required qualifications

• Graduation between Spring 2025 to Spring 2026 with a concentration in actuarial science, statistics, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Preference for candidates who have passed at least one actuarial exam
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on quantitative and mathematically-oriented projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
