Actuarial Trainee

Job Summary

To support the valuation and reporting of supplemental health business, the full-time remote Actuarial Trainee will gather and prepare actuarial information, assist with analyses and reports, and pursue actuarial exams as part of a professional development program.

Key responsibilities

• Providing support to actuaries by performing analysis within a business segment
• Assisting with the preparation of reports and studies
• Communicating technical work clearly to management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, or a related field
• Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam
• Experience with spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
