Actuary Analyst I
Job Summary
Conducting moderately complex actuarial and statistical analyses, the full-time Actuary Analyst I will support financial forecasting and decision-making remotely while managing assigned tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Perform health-related calculations and financial modeling to estimate financial outcomes
- Independently manage tasks ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational objectives
- Contribute to the development and refinement of actuarial methodologies and support regulatory compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Services, or related field
- Completion of actuarial course exams including Probability, Financial Mathematics, and Fundamentals of Actuarial Mathematics
- Proficiency in Excel and statistical software such as SAS, R, or Python
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Solid mathematical background with experience in risk models and actuarial analysis
