Job Summary

Leading a strategic actuarial function, the full-time remote AVP & Actuary - FSA Licensed will oversee high visibility projects, develop a talented team, and provide strategic oversight to support long-term growth objectives across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and establish a clear vision for the actuarial team aligned with organizational goals
• Oversee the creation and interpretation of complex financial models, ensuring proper governance and documentation
• Build a risk-aware culture by developing methods to monitor and project risk exposure, presenting analyses to Enterprise Risk Management

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Business, or Actuarial Science with strong mathematical ability
• Minimum 10 years' experience in the life insurance and annuity industry
• Minimum 5 years' management experience with a proven ability to develop talent
• FSA or career ASA designation preferred; MAAA may be required for specific roles
• Strong analytical skills and effective leadership capabilities
