Job Summary

An organization is seeking an Actuary for a Pension position in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run a book of business consisting of traditional corporate plans and small plan cash balance plans
• Service clients by handling day-to-day work and acting as the lead consultant
• Run valuations, stay technically proficient, and transition into a lead client consultant role

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience, with EA credentials required and ASA/FSA certification preferred
• Experience with running clients/client teams
• Preferably based in Chicago, IL, but open to fully remote candidates
• Small plan/cash balance plan experience is a plus, but not required
• Willingness to work with single employer private sector, public sector, and OPEB clients of various sizes
