ADA Accommodations Specialist
Job Summary
Owning the full ADA accommodation caseload, the remote ADA Accommodations Specialist will serve as the subject-matter expert, managing complex cases and partnering with Legal and HR to ensure compliance with ADA, PWFA, and state laws.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex ADA accommodation cases, conducting interactive process determinations and undue hardship analyses
- Collaborate with Legal on high-risk cases, providing documentation and recommendations for resolution
- Consult with HR and People Leaders to evaluate job functions and accommodation feasibility for contested requests
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in a relevant field
- Advanced knowledge of ADA, PWFA, FMLA, and related accommodation laws
- Experience partnering with Legal on cases involving litigation risk and ambiguous regulatory interpretation
- Proficiency with case management systems and HRIS platforms
