Job Summary
To support employees' leave and accommodation needs, the fully remote ADA Leave Administration Specialist will manage ADA and religious accommodation requests, ensuring compliance and effective communication while serving as a trusted resource in a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Effectively interpret and communicate company policies regarding Leave of Absence, ADA, and Religious Accommodations to educate employees and managers
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding ADA and religious accommodation requests, engaging in the interactive process and documenting final determinations
- Track ADA accommodation end dates and assist with payroll inquiries related to paid time off policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience managing and/or administering Leave of Absence processes or related HR leave compliance functions
- Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, and applicable federal, state, and local leave and accommodation regulations
- Experience interpreting and clearly communicating HR policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and managers
- Proficiency in HR systems, case management tools, and Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Ability to maintain accurate case documentation and meet established SLAs in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
