Job Summary

A company is looking for an ADABAS Mainframe Engineer - remote.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor automation messages for database exception conditions and analyze application and database performance problems
Implement database turnover requests, support database backup and maintenance processes, and provide level one and level two support on database systems
Build tools to automate reporting and monitor platform stability while following escalation procedures

Required Qualifications

University Degree (B.S.) with 7 to 10 years of technical experience
Solid familiarity with z/OS IBM mainframe and ADABAS database on mainframe
Experience with Agile development, SDLC, and DevOps best practices
Data analysis and manipulation skills; scripting/coding experience is a plus
Experience with Project Management preferred
