Adjunct Accounting Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning, the part-time Adjunct Accounting Instructor will deliver course material, manage administrative requirements, and engage in program improvement strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Delivers course content in alignment with the college curriculum and fulfills administrative duties such as grading and attendance tracking
• Utilizes student achievement data to enhance program effectiveness and participates in program assessment and improvement processes
• Engages in student support activities, including advisement and mentoring, while collaborating with colleagues to ensure student success

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or a related field, or a master's degree with 18+ graduate hours in accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information in various settings
• Required certifications or licenses for teaching the accounting courses
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts relevant to accounting
