Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Adjunct Chemistry Instructor, the role will facilitate engagement in online undergraduate-level courses in Introductory Chemistry, providing timely feedback and support to an average of 20 students per course.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement in 5-week online undergraduate courses in Introductory Chemistry and related subjects
• Provide timely feedback and actively participate in Discussion Board tasks to enhance student learning
• Maintain professional knowledge and skills through participation in required training and professional development activities

Required qualifications

• Terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in chemistry or a related discipline, or a master's degree with significant professional experience
• Proficiency in using personal computers and software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills using email and digital conferencing tools
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
