Adjunct Creative Writing Faculty

Job Summary

To support the Creative Writing Bachelor of Fine Arts program, the part-time Adjunct Creative Writing Faculty will engage students in storytelling techniques, create learning activities, and assess student outcomes through both on-campus and online instruction, while residing in Florida.

Key responsibilities:

• Create a student-centered learning environment through effective teaching and curriculum updates
• Utilize diverse teaching strategies to promote active learning and assess student performance
• Conduct lectures and virtual meetings, interacting positively with a diverse student population

Required qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
• A minimum of four years of experience in written content creation for entertainment mediums
• Proficiency in software such as MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Final Draft
• Ability to provide verifiable work experience outside of teaching
• Commitment to maintaining knowledge and skills relevant to the industry through continuing education
