Job Summary
Supporting the mission of preparing Christian scholar-practitioners, the part-time Adjunct Dissertation Chair and Reader will guide and evaluate doctoral student research in the EdD in Organizational Leadership program while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary mentor for doctoral candidates, guiding them through dissertation development and compliance with program standards
- Provide scholarly review and constructive feedback on dissertation chapters and participate in proposal and final defense evaluations
- Maintain regular communication with students and committee members, ensuring adherence to program policies and ethical scholarship standards
Required qualifications:
- Earned Ph.D., Ed.D., or other terminal degree in Organizational Leadership or a closely related field
- Experience conducting original research and demonstrated expertise in qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies
- Preferred experience chairing or serving on dissertation committees and mentoring graduate-level students
- Strong academic writing and scholarly review skills
- Commitment to ethical scholarship and student success
