Job Summary

Adjunct Dissertation Faculty are part-time educators responsible for serving on doctoral dissertation research committees, supporting students in their research roles and ensuring compliance with university policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as dissertation chairperson or methodologist, guiding students through proposal and dissertation processes
  • Collaborate with committee members to assess and report on student progress
  • Provide written feedback on student work and maintain communication with relevant university offices
Required Qualifications
  • Primary U.S. residency
  • Doctoral or terminal degree
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a dissertation chair or methodologist
  • Mastery of the Office 365 suite and APA publication style
  • Proficiency in the Canvas learning management system (LMS)
