Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Instructor in Environmental Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in environmental chemistry or related chemistry courses
  • Teaching courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course
  • Meeting expectations for timely feedback, engagement in Discussion Board tasks, and responsiveness to students

Required Qualifications:
  • Possession of a terminal degree (e.g. PhD) in ecology or related discipline, or a master's degree with ample experience in the profession
  • Efficient operation of a personal computer and associated software
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
