Job Summary
Teaching SPAC 300 - Satellite and Spacecraft Systems, the part-time Adjunct Faculty will deliver online course content focused on orbital satellites and spacecraft, covering their application, design, and operational systems while ensuring compliance with U.S. location requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging online instruction for SPAC 300, focusing on satellite and spacecraft systems
- Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments and examinations
- Maintain communication with students and provide guidance throughout the course
Required qualifications
- Doctor's or Master's degree in a relevant teaching discipline or a Master's degree with a concentration in the discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours)
- Experience in military or civilian organizations operating space systems, including unmanned/manned aerial systems
- Active membership in relevant professional organizations related to engineering or astronomical sciences
- Professional certification related to satellite spacecraft system operations or equivalent military experience
- Degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or related engineering fields are preferred
