Adjunct Faculty - Biomedical Science

Job Summary

To support the online Master of Biomedical Science program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Biomedical Science will facilitate student learning through expert instruction, timely communication, and mentorship while engaging in the online course portal and hosting virtual office hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge in biomedical science and research practices while guiding students through their educational experience
• Engage in the online course portal a minimum of five times per week and host at least one hour of virtual office hours weekly
• Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and post weekly announcements to enhance course content

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Biomedical Science or related field; Ph.D. preferred
• Minimum of three years teaching experience in Biomedical Science
• Experience teaching online in an educational setting and expertise in curriculum development and assessment
• Desire to motivate and encourage students in academic and professional settings
• Familiarity with the Brightspace/D2L Learning Management system
