Adjunct Faculty - Communication

Job Summary

To support a growing online program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Communication will provide high-quality instruction and support to students, participate in curriculum development, and facilitate class interactions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online instruction and timely feedback to students while managing class sizes of up to 30
• Collaborate with program faculty on curriculum planning, development, and implementation
• Conduct periodic synchronous sessions and maintain communication regarding student performance and inquiries

Required qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Communication from an accredited institution
• A minimum of three years of online teaching experience in higher education is preferred
• Proficient in APA style and computer literate in software and internet-based applications
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Willingness to receive additional training and demonstrate good judgment in interactions with students and faculty
