Job Summary
To provide high-quality instruction and support for students in an online classroom environment, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Communication Disorders will facilitate courses, offer timely feedback, and engage with students through virtual meetings while adhering to the university's Christian mission.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate online courses and manage student groups on Canvas, providing timely feedback and grading assignments
- Hold virtual office hours and respond to student inquiries regarding course material and academic matters
- Participate in faculty meetings and provide feedback for program improvement while complying with university policies
Required qualifications
- A Master's degree or higher in Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Previous online teaching experience in higher education is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in computer software and internet-based applications
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Willingness to receive additional training and/or faculty mentoring
