Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty - Criminal Justice, the role will facilitate online learning for adult students, providing thoughtful feedback and fostering a supportive virtual classroom environment while managing teaching duties asynchronously over 6-week terms.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with students at least 4 days per week through discussion boards and timely feedback
• Create a safe and supportive virtual classroom atmosphere
• Occasionally collaborate on course content development and support college needs

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
• 1 to 2 years of teaching experience in higher education preferred
• Experience with distance learning is preferred
• Demonstrated capacity to provide individualized support to diverse students
• Commitment to Walden University's mission and vision in teaching
