Adjunct Faculty - English and Humanities

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Adjunct Faculty - English and Humanities, this remote position will provide course instruction, engage with students through discussion boards, and assess student work while fostering an accessible virtual classroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide course instruction as assigned and engage in classroom activities at least five days a week
• Facilitate discussions, assess student work, and provide timely feedback
• Establish a supportive virtual classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in the discipline being taught or a closely related field
• Three or more years of postsecondary teaching experience preferred
• Experience teaching adult learners, particularly in a community college setting, strongly preferred
• Experience teaching in an online or distance-learning environment preferred
