Adjunct Faculty - Food Justice Movement

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member for the course Introduction to the Food Justice Movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach an asynchronous online course using an existing syllabus and course shell on Canvas LMS
• Provide weekly office hours and be available to students by appointment
• Complete required faculty and staff trainings and maintain a positive team environment

Required Qualifications

• MA in Environmental Studies, Sociology, or a related field
• Experience with Canvas or other LMS platforms and online teaching experience
• Willingness to co-create an inclusive community and engage in professional development
• Basic understanding of contemplative educational approaches
• Demonstrated understanding of the values of the institution and rigorous approach in work and communication
