Adjunct Faculty - Hindu Tantra

Job Summary

Teaching online at the undergraduate and graduate level, the part-time Adjunct Faculty - Hindu Tantra will instruct the course REL634E: Hindu Tantra, assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain office hours while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct students online, assess progress, and assign grades in accordance with the syllabus
• Provide weekly online office hours and be available for student appointments
• Complete required faculty trainings and maintain a professional demeanor throughout the course

Required qualifications

• MA, MDIV, or Doctoral degree in Yoga Studies, Religious Studies with a focus in Yoga Studies, or a related field (Doctoral degree preferred)
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Yoga Studies
• Ability to create a conducive learning environment and maintain professionalism in online classes
• Commitment to co-create a diverse and inclusive community and engage in related professional development
• Strong understanding of contemplative educational approaches
