Adjunct Faculty in Elementary Korean

Job Summary

To support the World Languages/Cultures program, the part-time Adjunct Faculty in Elementary Korean will teach remotely, focusing on foundational Korean language and culture, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, and typing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Engage students through frequent interaction and motivate them to succeed in their learning
• Guide students in collaborative, problem- and project-based learning activities
• Provide constructive feedback on student work and suggest curricular improvements to the program director

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Korean, Korean language pedagogy, Korean linguistics, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Three years of experience teaching the Korean language
• Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred
