Job Summary
To support online education in the Homeland Security, Intelligence, and Emergency Management programs, part-time Adjunct Faculty will engage students through interactive learning, provide constructive feedback, and guide collaborative projects while teaching remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Actively engage students to motivate their success and enthusiasm for learning
- Guide students in collaborative learning and problem-based project demonstrations
- Provide regular feedback on student work and suggest curricular improvements to the program chair
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Homeland Security, National Security, Intelligence, Emergency Management, Public Safety, Criminal Justice, or a related field
- Professional experience in homeland security and emergency preparedness or intelligence-related fields
- Knowledge of emergency management principles, including NIMS and FEMA guidelines
- Experience teaching adult learners in an online higher education environment is strongly preferred
- Terminal degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required
